Florida Weddings Offer Lasting Memories and Great Scenery

Florida weddings are something that many people plan as a family gathering or just a small intimate affair because you can easily combine a honeymoon or vacation into the occasion. For those that plan an intimate wedding on the beach at sunset, the scenery, the Ocean, and the palm trees can give you pictures that will last a lifetime. Of course, you'll want to make sure you hire a professional photographer such as me to capture your “It’s All About You” moments digitally.

The lucky couple will discover that there are many intimate places to hold a wedding in Florida and some of the small, out-of-the-way places can offer some of the most spectacular scenery. Florida weddings can be held in State and National parks, or just some place unusual such as Crystal Springs where you might have manatees in attendance. Theme parks such as Busch Gardens and SeaWorld are happy to accommodate your special needs. The choices are seemingly endless. How about a wedding on the Cocoa Beach pier or Fort Desoto Park and Beach? Then for the truly adventuresome there is always the Everglades National Park with alligators and Blue Herons as your witnesses.

If you enjoy a little gambling check out the casino cruises out of Port Canaveral or John’s Pass near Saint Petersburg. Better yet, how about a three to seven day cruise on one of the many cruise ships departing weekly for the Bahamas, Grand Cayman, Cozumel or the Virgin Islands? Here again we can help since my wife and I are Cruise Specialists (www.dstilton.cruiseone.com) and have been assisting people with their cruise needs for nearly ten years. It’s rare that we can’t meet or beat online rates and with us you get a real person to talk to.

Florida is a great place to bring family and friends together, too, so plan to invite as many as you like to celebrate “Your Special Day” with you. Many who plan a larger gathering might prefer the tropical island feel of the Florida Keys which certainly are a very a popular honeymoon destination, especially Key West where visitors gather each day for the sunset celebration along the oceanside boardwalk. When you are considering locations for your Florida wedding the hardest thing to do just might be a matter of narrowing the field.

Check out Marco Island where seashells are known to wash ashore a foot high or even Cape Canaveral when the space shuttle is launching. With so many options you are only limited by your imagination and the places you can get your professional photographer to go!

So you can see that if you are looking for something different and exciting for your wedding, Florida offers an array of choices to give you memories that will last a lifetime. Plan to return in 10, 20 or even 50 years for an anniversay walk on the same beach . . . it will probably still be there.

There are a few things to consider when planning Florida weddings, such as the time of year and what you plan to do while you are here. Spring Break and Christmas break can be very busy and over crowded. Some lucky couples believe the most peaceful time of year is in the fall, when the kids have gone back to school, yet all of the theme parks are still open and the weather has cooled slightly. Depending upon whether you are in northern or southern Florida it can still be pretty hot but generally is less crowded making it a more enjoyable experience. Since anytime is popular for Florida weddings you want to book early, especially if you have a particular venue in mind.

Booking a professional photographer should be done for your special occasions, too, whether it is for Florida weddings, receptions, or anniversary parties. You want to make sure that you have your memories captured and digitized, especially with the unique scenery, sunsets, wildlife and marine life that you may encounter while celebrating “Your Special Day”.
